At Homary, we are doing our best to make sustainability
fit seamlessly alongside production, materials choosing, packaging, and carbon
emissions. For a more sustainable planet, Homary is committed to
being a more sustainable brand.
Sustainability is throughout the whole process of production. Homary has been dedicated to providing products of good quality and high durability since 2012, by sharing this core value with the suppliers we cooperate with, adhering to high standards, and refusing jerry-building. It is always our belief to help the customers enjoy the convenience brought by the appropriate products rather than buying as many as they can.
We insist on using materials that have less impact on the environment including more traceable wood and more sustainable cotton. As a furniture retailer, we pay much attention to making sure that the wood we used is coming from forests responsibly managed. Why? To prevent encouraging deforestation. How? By making it traceable at the forest level, cooperating with well-managed routes/origins, and using recyclable wood as much as we can.
When packing each piece of our products, we are striving to seize a subtle balance between over-packaging and protecting our products from physical damage in the process of shipping. It is our scheme to eliminate unnecessary plastics and maximize the recyclable rate of materials that we use.
Our goal is to achieve carbon-neutral in all aspects of Homary by 2050. Confronting challenges posed by climate change, an ambitious plan has been developed to achieve a considerable reduction in GHG emissions from electricity and heating of our warehouses and offices. In addition, we spare no efforts in improving the efficiency of equipment in cooperation with the supply chain and transportation partners.
As a furniture retailer, we never forget to protect the forests we all depend on and give back to the planet. Forests serve as a significant part of the Earth’s ecosystem, and Homary has been ready to play our part to lower the impact of our production on the environment and ensure a healthier and greener home planet for generations to come through achieving cooperation with the Arbor Day Organization.
The Arbor Day Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation that has helped plant nearly 500 million trees in cooperation with enterprises aligning with their vision, mission and core values. We are proud to be able to support Arbor Day Organization in the tree-planting movement and forest restoration around the country and around the globe. This cooperation will help to restore the damaged ecosystem and endangered forests, ultimately leading to the reduction of climate change's impact, and an environment with cleaner water and fresher air.
