Just what I was looking for!

Very functional and looks great! It is much heavier than I expected, but that also makes it very sturdy. I leave it open most of the time. It is perfect for dinner at the TV and my lap top or bookworm next to it. There is enough storage for my electronics rechargers and the remote. When I have company I close it and it hides my rechargers and anything else I have by the TV.
