I order the medium black style and I was worried since the black version photos kinda looked photoshop but it's real and looks better in person. The drawers are shallow which I do not mind at all. I am currently using this as a night stand which works really well with the extra storage. The back side is also glass so if you don't want to place it against a wall. The drawer pull out enough where you can see and reach the back. I bought two and I am still waiting for the second one to be delivered. But they package this one really well with a wood structure. Use a back side of a hammer to pry it open if you don't have a crowbar. The reason for 4 stars is that there is tempered glass etching in the corner. I tried to remove it with nail polish remover, white vinegar, or anything the internet has to offer but it would not come off. I might paint it black. It's not a deal breaker in fact I think two side by side would make a longer nightstand if you want more smaller confine storage than a dresser. I also think it would make great makeup storage as well. I showed this off to family and they can't believe how good it looks. I cant wait for the second one so my bedroom can finally be finished. If I can do it again I would prefer the large but that is only because my bed is really tall but it really depends on how much storage you need.

Initially, we hesitated on this cabinet because I wasn’t familiar with Homary and my husband was convinced it would look cheap. After seeing a positive review with pic for the black cabinet, however, we pulled the trigger. Let me just say, this cabinet is GORGEOUS!!!! We purchased most of our furniture at Modshop/Restoration Hardware/custom made and this piece is on par in terms of quality—we couldn’t be more pleased! The white lacquer has a liquid sheen, the gold is the perfect shade, the hardware is excellent quality, and the inside of the drawers are real plywood. I really wish we’d ordered more furniture from Homary now that I have this piece. I’ve always loved the designs I saw on Homary’s website, but frankly thought maybe the pictures didn’t reflect the actual items we’d receive. Well, they do!!! In fact, I would say the cabinet is more stunning in person than it is in the photo. The only thing to beware of is that shipping takes FOREVER—although Covid might have contributed to that. Also, there isn’t any tracking. On the bright side, the cabinet arrived so well crated that we think it would have survived a battle, lol. I was also very happy that the piece arrived in perfect condition—even our Restoration Hardware dressers came with dings, but this beauty was actually flawless! Anyhow, I can’t say enough. I’m truly smitten with the cabinet and it makes my home office pop. After seeing this, I would truly recommend Homary and can’t wait to buy something else.
