Maybe the manufacture has c ed their process. The unit I put together is finished all around and has no exposed particleboard. I would say it looks very nice. The one I bought was an Amazon return and represented great value for money! I haven’t hung it on the wall yet but I don’t expect that to be a problem just need an extra pair of hands.

Decent for the price.

Not to bad on assembling the shelf, although there are 5 wood pieces and 2 were marked incorrectly! How hard is it to label 5 pieces? Had to redrill a couple of the holes that weren't lined up but all in all I like the look. Buy decent screws from your local home improvement store for anchoring into the studs but other then that pretty good product.

On opening up the box this automatically looked like a re wrap. The hardware package has some of the pieces already cut open. The Instructions are 1 sheet of paper and you need the vision of Superman to read them. First impression is not a very good one I'll rate this again after I've tried to assemble it. 1 star for now. UPDATE After putting it together and up on the wall it looks great. A nice solid piece. Yes all the parts were there, I don't know what happened to the packaging. I will now rate this shelf 5 stars.
