This product looks really good on the wall if you do it correctly. There is a plank of wood you have to mount onto the wall studs with pre-drill holes in it so that you can hook the stand onto it. Good design, however the pre-drilled holes on the plank of wook did not line up with the studs on my wall, so I drilled my own holes and called it good. Overall, I think it's a great TV stand and it looks darn good on my wall.

I actually had to return this because it was way too big. It’s very heavy and sturdy so you’ll need anchors for the wall. Wish I could have kept it but it was just way too big for what I needed.

Not to bad on assembling the shelf, although there are 5 wood pieces and 2 were marked incorrectly! How hard is it to label 5 pieces? Had to redrill a couple of the holes that weren't lined up but all in all I like the look. Buy decent screws from your local home improvement store for anchoring into the studs but other then that pretty good product.

I found it easy to put together and mount on wall. I took some other reviewers advice and pre-drilled the holes for the mounting bracket into my wall studs. I didn’t worry about using the holes that already existed in the bracket. the bracket 1 inch lower than you want the top of the shelf to be. I wanted the top of the shelf to be 42” above the floor. Instead it was 43” which left 1” less between top of shelf and bottom of tv. No biggie, i left it as as.

My electric fireplace was a little short and I needed to boost it up. This fit the dimensions of the fireplace perfectly and couldn't have matched the top any better! We are going to put aspen logs under it for decoration

Clean and minimalist look I was going for. Quality is decent and assembly was quick and easy. The whole thing is held up by a cleat mounted to the wall. Just make sure to hit studs. The bad reviews of this being too heavy to be mounted are people that don’t know how to properly mount something to a wall.

This might look cheaply made in the pictures but it is far from it. Some what heavy and seems very sturdy, finish is nice. Assembly is very easy, mounting it may be a problem for some if your not handy with a tape measure and level.

I simply do not know what materials elicit he $200 price tag. The only reason I can think of is that the boards are heavy. I am not sure if these bolts are meant to withstand this amount of weight but I guess I'll check every two weeks. It's very hard to install and the direction are bad. For instance, if you've never installed lag bolts before you won't know to drill the pilot hole as deep as you can. It seems many mounting hardware gives bad advice in their manuals. If you don't drill the pilot hole as deep as possible with a 3/16" drill the bolts will NOT GO IN! Make sure you do an even smaller test hole than that beforehand to ensure that wood dust comes out so you know you are in the stud. Lastly, do not drill the support beam into the wall all the way before resting the brackets onto it (the instructions are not clear on this). I'm giving it 4/5 because it seems to work and dinging it one star because of bad instructions and frustrating install for newbies

I received the product with a small puncture in the wood. I was able to assemble and use the shelve. I contacted the buyer and they took care of it immediately. I would purchase from them again. Thanks

It’s a nice tv floating shelf. Make sure to follow directions and do not over tighten the screws. I went to Home Depot and bought more sturdy screws to mount it to the wall!
